Patio Construction and Installation in Kent
Hard landscaping across natural stone, block paving, porcelain, and gravel. Consultation-first, with a free, no-obligation estimate before any work starts. Your patio is one of those jobs where the preparation is everything. A surface that lifts after three winters or pools water by the back door usually traces back to a base that was rushed, not a material that failed. We build patios across Sittingbourne and the wider Kent area: natural stone, porcelain, block paving, and gravel. Every job starts with the ground, not the surface.
WHY CHOOSE LED Construction FOR YOUR Patio Construction & Installation
We start with a site visit, not a phone quote. Patio size, drainage, existing ground conditions, and layout details can all affect the specification. The estimate we give you in writing after that visit is what you pay.
Once you accept, we will agree on a start date. On the first day, the existing surface comes up if there is one, and the ground is excavated and levelled. The sub-base goes in and is compacted with a plate compactor. The laying course follows. Surface material is laid in runs, cut to fit at edges, and jointed or pointed depending on the material. We rake and clean the finished surface before we leave and walk you through what it looks like and what, if anything, needs to cure before you put furniture down.
We do not subcontract patio work. The team that gives you a quote is the team that does the job. If a problem comes up during the build, such as an unexpected drainage issue or a level change the design needs to absorb, we deal with it on site rather than passing it back to you as a variation.
We quote after the site visit, and we do not start work without a written sign-off. There are no hidden extras added after the job is done.
What Does Led Construction Include In A Patio Installation Quote?
Patio pricing depends on the size of the area, the material chosen, the current ground conditions, and the drainage solution needed. We quote in writing after a site visit: that figure covers materials, groundworks, laying, and jointing. Call or email to arrange a visit, and we will come back to you with a price for your specific job.
Why Led Construction Asks You To Think Before You Commit
A patio is a permanent structure. Once it is down, relaying it is a full job. We would rather help you get the material and layout right before work starts than rush a decision that affects how your garden looks and works for years to come.
If you are unsure about the right material, book a site visit. We will look at the space, the house, the drainage situation, and talk through which options suit it and which do not. If the design you have in mind needs planning permission, such as a large area close to the house boundary or a surface in a conservation area, we will flag that before any work starts, not after.
We do not quote over the phone, and we do not start without a written sign-off from you. Those two rules are there to protect you as much as us.
